Welcome to Englewood United Methodist Church
Englewood, Florida
Thank you for visiting us on the web site. We pray the information you find here about the church and its ministries will be helpful. It is a joy to be in ministry here at EUMC and the Englewood area. Our mission statement is a “Servant Church.” It is our purpose to serve the Lord and serve others in helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES:
8:00 (Traditional);
9:30 (Contemporary); 11:00 (Traditional)
Pastors
David W. Baldridge - Senior Pastor
Peggy A. Wilkins - Assoc. Pastor
Herbert T. Agee - Asst. Pastor
Noel D. Burke - Visitation Pastor
Gale R. Williamson - Pastor in Residence
The worship services vary in style and music, however the same message is given at all 3. The 8:00 and 11:00 have the same order of service and hymns. The worship in music is different. The 8 has a choir the first Sunday of the month, whereas the 11 service has a chancel choir of 70 (no choir during July and August). Solos are provided on occasion at each service. The 11 service is broadcast live on WENG radio (related link provided on this home page). The 9:30 service has a Praise Team with Contemporary Worship Songs.
A SERVANT CHURCH
Following the example of Jesus Christ, the Englewood United Methodist Church shall strive to make God and His Kingdom more real through our caring, worship, study, fellowship, and outreach. To this end, as a Servant Church, we offer ourselves and our facilities to the Christian growth of all persons.
