Missions
The Missions Committee strives to follow the Great Commandment: “Go ye therefore into all the world…” Realizing that all are not called to serve around the world, we help those God has called to local, national and international missions through prayer, materials and funding.
The EUMC Appalachia Service Project
We have a mission trip planned for 3 adult work teams to travel to Jonesville, VA on November 5th for a week of service. We will be doing home repairs for the poverty folks making their homes warmer, safer and dryer. The mission trip is open to all who are interested in a mission here in the USA where we have huge poverty issues. Each volunteer is required to raise $300 in sponsor money to pay their room and board while at the Jonesville center.

A SERVANT CHURCH
Following the example of Jesus Christ, the Englewood United Methodist Church shall strive to make God and His Kingdom more real through our caring, worship, study, fellowship, and outreach. To this end, as a Servant Church, we offer ourselves and our facilities to the Christian growth of all persons.
