The third step of EMC’s discipleship process is called GROW. These are ministries that help people grow in faith and faithfulness to God. It’s where we discover our spiritual gifts, learn to appreciate the community of faith and practice disciplines that help us grow closer to God. These ministries offer opportunities for people to stretch in their understanding of who God is by responding to the sanctifying work of Grace that the Holy Spirit does in us and through us. We will talk about the distinctive purpose of GROW ministries, specifically what some of these ministries are and how the leaders of these ministries are called to Embrace the Adventure of our discipleship process through Growth. We’ll see how it all fits into the larger Path of Discipleship here at EMC.
