Worship is our response to the overtures of love from the heart of the Father. We have no other avenue to appropriately respond. Worship is how we experience the adventure of discipleship. Worship flows from gratitude and from hearts that have been claimed by Jesus. Yet misplaced worship can be one of the most confusing detours on the adventure. When what only belongs to God is given to some other entity, the hard road of a broken first Commandment makes the adventure laborious and burdensome. We will rehearse the importance of worship and review the preparation and the fruits of worship.
