SERMON DESCRIPTION
Over and over Samuel returns to Eli to see what his master needs. Again and again, he is sent away as Eli has not called him. When it is realized that the Lord is trying to talk to Samuel, Samuel sits up and acknowledges. Then he does something amazing, he listens!
Throughout my life, God has called, and I assumed it was anyone but God. My path has been a unique one but as I learned how to listen, I heard God for the first time in my life. He spoke to me through different people, different times, and different ways. Today’s worship will not only introduce me and my path but invite and encourage others to take note of God’s voice calling to them, take a deep breath, and LISTEN.
