Cost: $6.00, children under 12 eat free!
Location: EUMC Fellowship Hall
Hot breakfasts include choice of pancakes or egg & sausage or biscuits & sausage gravy or quiche & fresh fruit. Each served with choice of orange juice or bottomless cup of coffee or tea. All proceeds fund local college scholarships and various missions, local and abroad. Everyone is welcome!

Come experience the Christmas story through music featuring the Sanctuary Choir, orchestra, narration, and living nativity. This year’s program is “Peace” and the same program will be performed at both Sunday worship services.
Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long
Date: Tuesday, December 14
Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Green Street Church (off campus -510 S. Indiana Ave.)
Cost: Free, but a love offering will be taken to benefit the Englewood Historical Society
A Christmas carol & hymn sing will be led by Pastor Don and Mary Burlock at EUMC’s first church building, the “Green Street Church” located at 510 S. Indiana. After the sing-a-long, hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Everyone is invited for a wonderful time of carols and fellowship!
Christmas Remembrance Service
Date: Monday, December 20
Time: 2:00 pm
Location: Doan Chapel
Led by: Pastor Don Burlock
Many of you have lost loved ones and Christmas is a time of remembrance. This is what this service is for, to remember your loved ones. A Remembrance Christmas Tree is located in the entrance way to the Sanctuary. You are invited to write the name or names of the one you lost on the supplied ornament and attached it to the tree any time between now and December 20. That tree will be in Doan Chapel during the service. You are welcome to attach an ornament even if you cannot attend the service. The offering taken will go to the Living with Loss program.
Christmas Eve Services
Date: Friday, December 24
Times: 4:00pm, 6:00pm, 8:00pm & 10:00pm
4:00 pm: Our early traditional service, which is family friendly, will draw you closer to the true meaning of Christmas with organ and harp. Pastor Bo preaches, “Every Heart a Manger,” and the service concludes with candlelight and everyone singing “Silent Night.”
6:00 pm: Our family service will have an exciting participatory retelling of the Christmas Story with music and narration. Director of Family Ministries, Beth Ann Smolinski involves all ages in the message with the service concluding in a candlelight singing of “Silent Night.”
8:00 pm: Our traditional service will proclaim the Word of God’s arrival among us with Pastor Vic preaching, “The Time is Right.” The service will musically include organ, Sanctuary Choir, harp, trumpets, and timpani. We will close the service with candlelight and everyone singing “Silent Night.”
10:00 pm: Our Communion service will have a special message from Pastor Vic entitled, “Come and See,” that prepares us for candlelight Communion. This service will include beautiful music from organ, harp, trumpets, flute, clarinet, percussion, timpani and vocal soloist.

30th Annual Englewood United Methodist Church Christmas Dinner! Turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Meals can be picked up or delivered to homebound folks, but no dining in this year. From noon to 2:00 on Christmas day, meals will be brought to your car by volunteers. Meals are free, but donations are accepted. For homebound meal delivery please call 941-474-5588, extension 101, now through noon, December 24. Please leave a name and phone number and you will receive a call back with instructions.
2022 Rummage Sale
Annual Huge, Colossal, Incredible Rummage Sale! This year will have two years worth of donations and it’s going to be BIG! Everything from furniture, collectibles, sporting equipment, tools, clothing and shoes for the whole family, jewelry, linens, small appliances and kitchen wares, books, seasonal decorations, crafts, games & toys, rugs, and much, much more! All proceeds go to support local and global missions and local scholarships.
To volunteer, please call Annette 303-915-2690 before Feb. 7. Donations accepted at the drop off shed located at back corner of church parking lot. No large items or furniture is being accepted at this time.
