EUMC’s Christian Concert Series celebrates the talents of local and distant artists as well as our own church musicians.

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregiver’s College

Alzheimer’s is not a normal part of aging. Join us for a series of four informational presentations. Topics and dates are below. All presentations will be in Doan Chapel and are free. No registration is necessary.

Understanding Alzheimer’s & Dementia Learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, Alzheimer’s disease stages and risk factors, current research, treatments available to address some symptoms.

Effective Communication Strategies Learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
