Appalachia Service ProjectWould you like to help someone be Warmer, Safer, and Dryer this winter?  Marty Bencsik and Margie Kennedy are organizing the Appalachia Service Project fall mission trip to Jonesville, VA.  There are 8-10 volunteer spots available to make up two work teams that will work for a week on homes of needy folks.  We will be leaving on October 13th.

Gals and Guys are included—construction skills are a bonus, but if you are willing to be a helper, we can use you!

Central Appalachia is beautiful this time of year with foliage turning brilliant red and orange.

Volunteers are required to raise/contribute $350 to cover transportation, lodging, meals, and building materials.  Volunteers will leave EMC October 13th and return October 21st.

Volunteers are in need of sponsors, so if you are interested please contact Marty Bencsik, 734-788-1065 / pinesandbox@sbcglobal.net or Margie Kennedy, 207-233-3200.

Not able to volunteer? Consider making a contribution— just make your check out to EMC and mark ASP on the memo. Thanks for your support—this past summer
16,000 volunteers during the 8 week period from June-August repaired over 600 homes.

ASP is celebrating 50 years of home repair in Appalachia!
