On Thursday, April 25, (note change of date) the Fun Bunch will be going to the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida. This is a retirement sanctuary for Chimpanzees and Orangutans. One of the only 10 in the nation and the only Orangutans facility. You will tour this great facility among 120 acres of lush forest and be introduced to and hear the stories of how these over 40 great animals ended up in this unique environment. It will be a half mile shell path tour that will last about two hours.
We will be stopping for lunch at Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant on the way to see these magnificent animals. The cost will be $72 per person.
