Confirming God’s Call

How do we know it’s really God Calling? How can we be sure? We get help from Moses and Jesus for confirming God’s Call on our lives. Even the Great Patriarch, Moses, and The Son of God, Jesus, went through processes of confirming it was God’s Will that they were feeling called to. Ours will involve many of the same questions and verifications through scripture. Moses’ questions and Jesus’ temptations will help us confirm God’s Call on our lives. From the Wesleyan Quadrilateral to Drawing Lots to “it seemed good to the Holy Spirit,” we have many traditions to employ in discerning God’s Call.
